ok so i took this engine apart a while back, now im putting it back together. i think i might have switched rod/piston 3 and 4. does it really matter? trying to figure out which bearings to get to replace them. on the crank, it reads A2, A2, B2, B1. i know the letter is supposed to be the important one, but whats is the number? is it supposed to match up with the number rod? the numbers on the rod are 2,2,1,2. this is assuming i havent changed 3 and 4 around. you can still sort of see the color on the bearings, and 1,2, what is now 4 all look the same, and if i have switched them theyd all be pink. and the other would be yellow, which does look bright yellow on the bearing. this is a b18b. :1

 

in what sense? in the manual it says to read the letter off the crank and then cross reference it with the number on the rod. ok looked a page back the number on the crank is for the crank journals.

i was asking about the matching numbers on the crank and rods, coincidence?

typo, there fixed. ok so anyway to find out if i did switch them?

the way they are now, theyd be pink, pink, green, and brown. the one thats supposedly green looks yellow, and the "brown" ones looks like 1 and 2, which really dont look pink to begin with.

B2=yellow.
