I did a bit of searching but wasn't finding much. Who's running TT rods and making any kind of power with them?

I've had an LS and a set of TT rods sitting for a long *** time now and I want to build it up. My turbo stock longblock z6 is no longer up to par so i need to start making some real power. (Not saying sohc's can't make power its just that I alredy have an LS and lots of parts for it).

 

I have tt rods but am running NA in an LS/Vtec but rev it to the moon with some nice cams so I can vouch that they can handle the revs.

9500rpm every time I take it out.

 

Im using them now in my b16 with srp pistons. Im only making 10psi and roughly 230whp now but planning on making alot more soon. I know their capable of just about as much as you can throw at them.

 

I don't have tunertoys rods, but they have the crunkest, flyest, grooviest customer support.

I think the site says they're rated for 500-600+ whp? Either way, your cylinders will fail long before these do, assuming you know how to tune.

TT, Eagles, Scat it's all the same stuff maybe with slightly diferent quality control.

Your local machinist can make it work for you if not he is a loser.

 

I had TT rods in a Z6 that made 300 whp at 13 psi...

 

i had some TT rods for a while, then parted out and sold em for same purchase price...they hold good in the engine and in the financial books

 

There are many 300whp + d series TT, vitara setups out there.

 

i'm shooting for more like 4-500whp (probably closer to 4) on E85

ls block; gsr mains; ls crank; tt rods; je pistons; balanced/lightened rotating assembly; ls head lightly built

 

Made 375 off a set of TT rods seen 6 or 7 sets installed not one problem
