They will easily make your 400-5000whp. Tuner toys does have the best customer service around hands down. Support the HMT sponsors!

That might be a slight exaggeration.

TT rods more than likely wont be the first thing to break at 400-500whp. If the tune is good enough not to break something else first I think its fair to say they will pretty easily make 400-500whp. Nothing actually makes 400-500whp easily but relative to the situation Id say they are very capable.

No. They will do 400-500 whp no problem, which is an easy number to hit since the stock sleeve/ignition and commonplace T04E compressor are all good for that area. However,

sold my pos 240sx today; might spend some money on bearings/rings/gaskets/new vtec oil pump instead of paying bills this month

I was looking at the I beams that FJ makes but the TT rods are about $100 cheaper. I know the compression may be an issue with the TT rods but I'm only aiming for between 250-300hp. BTW I'm talking about a vitara build here. How many people are running the TT vitara setup without problems and can I get some HP numbers and how long your build has been together.

And I'll have mine professionally tuned.

The compression is not a problem with TT/Vitaras. 75mm bore is very volatile, dropping the CR is not a bad thing.
