Help 92 honda civic/wont start/need key for shift release?
My brothers car recently had several issues happen to it, it wouldnt start one day when he came out of the store, well it was towed home and i began to work on it, No spark, no Fuel prime, i looked at the service manual for it and jumpered pins 1 and 7 on the molex plug where the main relay plugs into under the dash and the pump primed itself
so i figured i was a bad main relay and i picked up a new one from napa and it didnt work, then after all this he told me that his car wont come out of the park position without using the shift release key port
both proplems presented themselves at the same times, any ideas or advice?

Why did you think it was a bad relay if you were getting no spark? I know you weren't getting fuel, but if you also all of the sudden didn't get spark then logic would tell you it's something else.
i may be wrong but it was my uderstanding that the main relay controlled both the fuel pump and the routed the power to ecu for the dizzy, hmmm
i dunno
i dunno
it will turn over but it doesnt start, i think it might have something to do with the selector switch for the shifter (automatic) any other ideas while im checking out the tolerance on that?
turn key to prime if works pop hood and jump the starter. might help getting it started. thats what i had ot do when i would fire up. also for the shifter make sure nothing is under the brake pedle my girls sol had that issue cuz there was a chunk of lint under it and you couldnt press it all the way or just have spare key in shifter and a wire to jump it and problem solved
