well i bought a 94 civic 4 door auto well i changed the motor and trany and made it std with a z6 mtor but and installed the z6 harness as well with the p28 ecu
but i dont feel the vtec kick in
do i still need to wire it to the ecu or whats up or i do something wrong
i want to get it going so i can do the turbo kit next let me know whats up thanks

 

You're not going to "feel" VTEC "kick" on an SOHC. If you listen really closely, you might barely be able to hear it if you try hard.

Yes if the car was non-vtec then you need to wire the VTAK to have VTAK. I somehow don't think that the 4-door were all ex's so you might have to wire the VTAK.

You should notice it stuttering when it starts dumping the extra fuel for VTAK and it's still on the non VTAK cam profile. VTAK.

where can i get a diagram to wire it up and yeah the four door was a dx but converted to a ex so yeah where can i get it to wire it up correctly
