d16z6 tranny input shaft bearing replacement
I don't have the tranny code on me at the moment but can post it up in a bit if needed. What I need to know is the proper name for the bearing or even better, a part number. I went to honda the other day thinking I could just tell them a year/make/model and that I needed the input shaft bearing, and no one knew wtf bearing I was talking about. He printed me out a shitty diagram to look at, but I wanted to pick up the part and install the same day, not tear it down and bring it in and end up ordering 30 different parts to get the right one, as I'm sort of pressed for time. Anyone know?
Cliffnotes: Need part # or "Honda" name of the input shaft bearing for stated transmission. please

you're honda parts guy must be retarted, my guy had the bearing in my hand before I could finish telling him what I needed. do you have it apart yet? I would sugest grabbing some of that hondabond ---- while you're there it works pretty good for resealing up the transmission case halfs.
dude, you guys ------- rock. I was expecting this to be some drawn out ordeal. Thanks for the help. And I will pick up the hondabond and extra seal. I've never split open a tranny before so feel free to send any advice my way. I read that the little c-clip holding the case together is a bitch, but the rest of it doesn't seem like too big of a deal.
Just to be sure here, the input shaft should have basically no play right?
