jus picked up a 2000 gsr yesterday, and i am furious to say that i got a check engine light like 8 hours after i picked her up. 80,xxx miles and she is spotless, but what happened was it ran fine until CEL went on late last nite and 1st-4th gear i couldnt rev past 3500 rpms..... i got to where i was going, disconnected the battery to try n clear the code, and CEL went off and sure enough its been running fine since now..

any ideas?? before i go back to the dealer and put a shotgun down the guys throat there!!!

You just don't clear the code before knowing what it is :1.
