prelude timing belt on dohc zc
so i used the 2.0 timing belt from the prelude for my dohc zc and there is alittle slack in the belt. i have a new tensioner and tightend the belt the as tight as it would go. i was just wodering if this is normal. the car runs good and drives fine. but i was nervous about the belt slipping so i did not take it past 4000rpms. im just wondering whether or not his is normal or am i just worrying about nothing

it's really not that loose but it's looser than i would expect but i got all the slack i could out of it. ive done at least 15 timing belts on kia's and never have barely any slack in the belts. the old one did not have any slack really but it was the factory belt so i was just wondering if thats normal because the belt is from a prelude and not built specifically for the dohc zc or if i am missing something
Is there slack after the tensioner?
If there is that's bad, if not that's just how the belt sits. It's supposed to be slightly slack on one side, also you kinda sorta shoulda made sure you turned the engine 720 degrees to double check the cam timing.
You did right?
