No oil pressure in my turbo f22

Default No oil pressure in my turbo f22

I recently rebuilt my f22.F22b1 bottom end with a f22a6 head.I can start the car up and have 80pounds of pressure but after about 5 minutes or so it drops down to nothing.So any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks

stock oil system? what kind of gauge are you using?

More info. new oil pump, old (everything within spec.) what gauge are you using, are you sure its accurate? I'm sure you checked oil., its not hooked up to a restricted oil source for the turbo....

used pump but checks out and im using a autometer gauge and i have a t running of the back of the block where the stock o.p hook up is.

could it be that i used a f22a6 oil pan instead of the f22b1 idk if it has anythig to do with that

The only problems an oil pan will bring is if it's dented really bad.

Isn't there an orifice in the block that you have to remove/add when getting rid of vtec or something?

i searched around and could not find anything that said i needed to add or fill a hole in the block

the oil jet was still in the block when you put the head on right? between the middle two cylinders on the intake side.

yep i made the mistake of not putting it in first so had to pull the head and put it in
