86 toyota truck won't shift into overdrive when cold
I've got a 86 toyota truck (4 cyl) and when it's cold it won't shift into overdrive. Besides for just warming the car up first, how can I get it to shift into overdrive sooner?

i think you meen it stays in overdrive right?
lol they must be all the same.. my gramps truck does the same thing (94' toyota pick-up)
tranny/ecu whatever must take a reading off the oil/coolent temp gauge to make sure you dont over rev when its cold i would think.
