Default D15B7 vs D16Z6 cost effective build Q?

Heres what I'm thinking about. I'm going to be doing a TT rod + vitara piston build so I can up the power A LOT. I have two options that I'm looking at right now:

1) Rebuild D15B7 (300k miles) that I have sitting around

2) Do above ^^^ but my current Z6 head on the D15 bottom end

3) Source out a D16Z6 and then have it rebuilt

In your honest opinions what would be my best bet at making 300hp? Could I attain 300hp on a D15B7 TT vitara setup?

Currently running D16Z6 (soon to be boosted 3psi @ first with MBC to up to 7psi when I'm comfortable)

d15 rods for the d15b vtec, which are identical to d16 rods. b7 rods have 1.5 journals, d15b have 1.6 journals

Yeah rods for a d15b7 are hard to come by. BUT

I just had the idea....

What about B16A rods? it appears they are only .015" longer than D15b7 rods.... I'm going to play around with the compression calculator... I could be on to something.
