Default low compression?

Hey sorry not sure if this is the right place to post this, but me and a friend just did a compression test on my del sol (d16z6 168,000 m.). it was reading about 120 across the board. isn't that kind of low? we were doin the test to see if i need a new engine before i go forced induction. we forgot to unhook the fuel injectors. would that have anything to do with the low numbers? What do the low numbers mean? it doesn’t feel slow and the engine runs fine. Any advice would be good.

I had the samething happend to me with a shitty compression tester, I had got 120 on all 4. I use a new one and it showed 200 on all 4. Boosted that motor for 6 months on a base map, blew the turbo. Did another test a few months ago and it still was 200 on all 4. I say boost it, even if the motor is ---- up push it until it lets lose .

I would bet not. But I agree that every tester seems to read a little different.
