anyone use a gsr intake on an LS or chopping another junkyard variable length IM
I've only found one guy on honda-tech who did it. Has anyone else done this with the GSR IM? I've seen a few of these at the junkyard from various other car manufactures. I'm thinking I might chop one of these and attach it to ls IM for some type of hybrid
. This motor will not be boosted for a whle so I'm looking for a little NA performance.
I want low end power to mid range with my LS, I dont think its worth spinning past 7000rpm. I figure I would mate a gsr intake manifold to the ls block by redrilling it

I did it with a b16a years ago but cut the flanges welded the b16a flange to the gsr manifold
then spent alot of time porting the **** out of the manifold about 10+hours
ended up on a low 12 sec all motor ls/vtec

a stock GSR manifold makes ---- power.

remember guys I dont have a GSR that revs high, I have a LS which dies at 7000. A guy on honda tech actually dyno'd the results. The GSR intake does very well, but at the very top it losses to the aftermarket crowd. I dont have a very top

Dont forget with blox you loose too much low end... I know they are cheap
