somebody talk to me about 90-92ish mazda protege 4dr awd

anyone know ---- about them? I have seen 1 in my life. I might need one and then swap a jdm 1.8 turbo in it. Do they come auto and standard? I'm not talking the 323 gt or gtx here

They are kind of rare but do pop up for sale once a month or so. They come standard and automatic. The drivetrain is pretty weak and its hard to find replacement parts for the drivtrain
