Default setup for mazda protege 1.6...inputs needed

hi, just registered in this forum...was going through the net in search of turbos related info when i stumbled upon HMT.I am looking into turbocharging my 02 mazda protege n need some turbo setup suggestions, eg, what turbo, intercooler...i m going for a reliable n budget setup with a sleeper look...i m looking at building a street car with good driveability. any inputs will be greatly appreciated..thanks...will the td04 suit my needs? thks.need also all the items required to tc my car...

There was 2 different motors

I'd look to see if the mazdaspeed stuff would work for that motor but I'm not sure you could easily find a used manifold or i think OBX makes and aftermarket T3 mani, the mazdaspeed runs a GT25 turbo which is small but spools quick and you can find t25 cheap t3 would probably be a better choice but may cost more since you can get all stock parts to make a t25 work check out www.msprotege.com

B6 is 1.6
BP is 1.8
2ltr I dont know.
