Default in the market for a mig welder, thinking about a miller Updated

ended up buying a new hobart handler 140 amp 115v welder at tractor supply, was about $474. I bought a argon/co2 cylinder, mig wire and extra tips etc etc and everything was a lil over 700, but to exchange the cylinder for a full one only costs about $20. Honestly, everything was pretty comparable to ebay etc so i just went to the store. I used it today on my new manifold, welded schedule 40 mild steel to the 1/2" weld flanges and it worked good, better than expected actually.

I have a little Lincoln 135. It works well. I want to get a Miller 252 maybe in the spring.

Here is the 135 in action. Keep in mind I don't MIG much.

If you don't weld much, or even if you do, I would seriously look at the miller with the autoset. That ---- is pimp.

I'll trade my lincoln 135 with 3 ft tall gas cylinder for a sleeved block.

Julio has a millermatic and last time I talked to him he said he was planning on selling it. Otherwise I've got a Thermal Arc 115V TIG.

I was also looking at a lincoln and a hobart but the miller seems like a much better machine. I used a friends bluepoint 115v mig welder (135amp) and it worked decent, but im looking at getting this particular model miller:

even though they are the same company when you get down to it, its like saying a cobalt=caddy because they are both made by gm. The miller is the better machine, the hobart you get less for less $$$, its a trade off. Take that nig nog noob
