Any way I can get this thing to run live through my computer? Like plug the xbox up to the computer? ---- paying $99 for the wireless thing, and the router is 2 floors below me. Help? Just bought Halo 3, and am completely willing to rape on Halo 2 as well.

 

ya. just plug the eithernet cord to the comp and create a network bridge between whatever the computer's internet connection is and the xbox's connection.
i highly suggest you to change the xbox's ip address from dynamic to static, and plug in the ip adress for your dns server (router). otherwise it'll fudge up every few days when the router releases it.


oh and on yor router set the DMZ zone to whatever your new xbox's static ip is. (i always set mine really high so that all the comps and network drives that come online here don't ---- it up. like 192.168.1.250)
