Default Damn dsm curse....

Well here goes i bought a auto 1g dsm shell and put a jdm longblock and got it running. The fucktard who sold me the car failed to mention the tranny ecu was missing so i bought a used one from a reputable friend.I pop it in and the car drives/shifts perfect for almost 100 miles and then the tranny starts acting up again. It was a random problem now it just stays in limp mode(it stays in 3rd gear).I checked the ecu board before i bought it and looked at it today and it looks clean. Now before anybody starts a arguement i have broken 4 5 speed dsm trannies and my goal is 300whp or 13's out of this car.If i cant figure it out int he next week i'm selling the bitch and getting another eg hatch.Any input would be appreciated and this is my 13th 1g dsm turbo.I'm very mechanically able i just dont have the ancient scantool to check the tranny code and work at large dealership.Any input would appreciated.

Yea they have solenoids but its a inconsistent problem which makes me rule it out.Usually when a tranny has problems it will grind or shift into the gear hard(same as a manual).I wish mitsu would have put the shift points into the engine ecu like everyone else instead of seperately.Damn dsm ecu's are all garbage.

Yea i feel ya but these cars leave in in 3rd to get it to a shop.Ive seen cars not crank due to a low oil pressure or a bad sender(some toyotas and hondas).I hope i get this figured out i'm dying to mod it and get to a track.

If you've got all those manual tranny's laying around, why not just swap one in and be done with it? Sheppard trans ftw IMO, but that's baller prices right there. Maybe someday I can afford a shep built tranny for my skeevo :P
