Remote Start and Keyless Entry on a CRX
Hey negroids.
So I'm bored as ---- and decided to wire up the remote start/keyless entry thing on my CRX. I got some pimp keyless door handles from TurboHF. One of my doorhandles is missing the lock cylinder, so to unlock the passenger door I have to unlock the driver side and reach over to unlock the passenger side, and I'm too lazy for that.
I'm going to try using a couple actuators from donalds cdm keyless entry with this RemoteReady setup.
Couple questions, where is the clutch interlock or whatever it's called switch. The one that tells the car the clutch is depressed. I looked under the dash and didn't see any wires going to the clutch pedal, so not sure what to jump. Don't give me any bullshit about safety, I recognize the risks of remote starting a 5-speed car. I'm going to rig up a switch hidden under the dash and if anyone uses my car I'll simply disable the clutch interlock jumper thing to make sure I don't start it until I check it's in neutral. It's already a habit of mine (for 6 years) to park in neutral with the e-brake, so I'm not worried.

The only thing I see attached to the clutch pedal that remotely resembles a wire is the clutch cable
I have no clue.
I'm not even sure which of these harnesses is the ignition harness... Mehhhh I've never fucked with wiring. A manual would help. Trying to find one.

My vision sucks, but 17, 18, 19, look like clutch switches, not sure why they list more than one

Well I found it but thanks for helping out. It was on the front of the clutch pedal and hidden by some of the air ducting crap. Unbolted the air duct, pulled it down, jumped the connector and started successfully without the clutch.
I also learned: Don't hold the ignition switch to the back of the ignition cylinder while trying to start it, youll get a nice shock and headache
Now just gotta connect all the wires.

Now the only problem is that the remote start thing calls for ignition wire 1 and ignition wire 2, well the crx (at least the wiring diagrams I have) only have one ignition wire listed, and the second one as unavailable. Any idears?
there should be two hot wires on the ignition switch, correct? well, the second wire gets hot when the key is turned, duuurrrrr me.
You cant get to the second wire on the switch, even from the harness? I would say get your multimeter and probe the wires coming out of it when you start the car. Whichever 2 are 12 volt have to be what your looking for.
I geuss pics would help, I dont have my hatch here and the book is in it.
