well i have a friend that lives in halifax canada and she wants to move to the states and live here, what does she have to do to become legal, she is in college up there and just finishing her last year of basicis at a cc college so i was wondering if she could just get a student visa and transfer to a cc here?? whats the low down ?

get married to hotrex! he is American then she would become a legal resident and be able to apply for naturalization. simple as that.

 

My wife is from mexico, lived here since she was 13, and still does not even have residency status. Americas immigration sysytem sucks.

If going to school (you must be full time to apply) you will need to enter on a F1 Status Visa, or FVISA
