Default Tow hook nuts fell out and stripped. WTF?? What to do?

So a while back while installing that Weirtech tractionbar ( that bent no more than a week after i installed it ) the 3 bolts fell out while tightening them up and 1 stripped. So i guess im wondering what you guys would do in this case. Should i just drill a whole on the other side of the frame and use long *** bolts or bypass the tow hook bolts and fabricate some brackets so that it only bolts up using the stock crossmeber locations on the bottom using the 2 long 17mm bolts.

Thanks!

yeah, just a bit.... Im thinking of just using the stock location to mount the traction bar and maybe use the long bolts on the tow hooks.

I just cut out the other side on the coupe and used lock nuts when the weak *** spot welds broke loose.

Cut it out and spray some primer in there afterwards so rust doesn't sneak up on you.
