Default stronger resistors=leaner mix???

so i found out after buying a fields vafc that it pretty much sucks ****. it won't go lean enough to properly run 450's so my question is this will a resistor with more resistance than the usual 10 lean out the mixture. in theory it sounds good to me but i'm not sure.

no, it won't do anything except maybe if you add too much resistance the injectors wont fire. an injector is sort of an ON-OFF switch and not a volume control. what varies is the duty cycle and not the voltage. what i can suggest is get a 3 bar map sensor and add some fuel using the fields or you could try this cheap circuit to further lean your mixture:

Wazzzup. I did the same thing. I sold my 450's for more than I paid for them at the bone yard and put in some ford probe GT 2.2L turbo injectors. I seem to be geting alot more power from these. But I dont like not having a 'generic' baseline since no one is using this setup.

I've had them on a d16z6 and currently d15b(jdm vtec)... I dont remeber if I ever put them on my old d16y8. Honestly I'm pretty sure they will work good once you take them to a dyno and get everything setup properly. I have yet to make it to the dyno. Do a search I did a write up on it in honda-tech.com. If you get them from the bone yard just make sure you get the clips also. The honda clips do not match. btw the ford probe gt injectors are also on some mazdas since they had the same engine I believe.
