Default Rev limiter

How does a chipped PR4 limit the revs It's a stupid question I know.

1. Spark
2. fuel cut

Which way is better for a turbo car?

Its a fuel cut.

What is better? I think it depends on what you'd be using the limiter for.

cut the spark, rich is no good either but a lot better then lean... and when you limit by ignition it keeps your turbo spooled slightly in a launching scenario if your bouncing of it, and just backfires if you go too high..

You guys are wacko...

Fuel cut means ZERO fuel...zero fuel means no combustion what-so-ever...there is no LEAN in this case...just no fire.

but when it turns back on would that not fire with the boost already there and become a lean condition?

no when it fires...it fires with the right amount of fuel

it shows up lean on a wideband because the WB02 measures amount of O2 (oxygen) content left over from a burn and when that exhaust is all mixed together it would appear lean to an O2 sensor.
