j12 - remove to datalog?

Default j12 - remove to datalog?

do i need to remove my j12 jumper to datalog? i havent tried it yet but i have my ecu out already so i wanted to know if i should remove it. its a p28 runnin crome gona datalog with ecucontrol

Yes for dlog on crome. No, for dlog on Uber.

so whats this little resistor looking part of the jumper? can i just re connect that i ever need to use my cars obd connector for some reason

you don't need to reconnect it for any reason again unless your gonna run uber instead.

brown resistor with one black wire is a 0 ohm resistor...in other words a jumper that has no resistance.

in a chipped ECU you will never have need to hook a scan too up to your diagnostic port

yesterday i was looking some threads from PGMFI.org and one guy was asking to ppl from MOATES about datalogging with UD, they did say to him it's necessary to cut too J12 for to datalog with UD...
