SmileyTools has offerred to give me an extra torch with my unit since they made a shipping error. Now which is more prone to fail on me so I can ask for that one? The TIG torch or the PLASMA torch?

Which one are you gonna use more often? That's how I'd decide.

 

Get the plasma end. I used the ---- out of my torch with no issues. Plus torches are cheap.

Plasma consumables for sure.

 

Plasma Parts or Torch. Mine is already broken. Part my fault, partly the chinese make of it.

 

LSD Mike's is broken too. He hardly used it. I have it here trying to get it fixed. No one has it nailed down yet.....Everyone wants a wiring diagram.

 

Well, mine mainly broke because I had to take it apart because I had to patch the main air/power line because I set something hot on it and it melted.
