Default few questions-

I'm about to turbo my Integra, or I guess start to turbo it. I want to make a homemade topmount out of my cheap ractive 4-2-1 header, basically just unbolt it where it transistions from 4 to 2 and cut the pipes off the bottom flange, get two small (1.5" or 1.75")180 degree bends, or..one big 3" 180" and weld it to a T3 inlet flange, for my turbo. I want to know what you guys think of that, and also the T3 turbo I have is externaly gated..well its not gated at all..on the exhaust side there is just a hole..should I buy a 5 bolt flange with the W/G flapper setup..or try and make an external w/g setup on my manifold?..I always hear about the SSAC w/g flanges cracking off first, I just don't want that to happen to me. If you guys know where I can find a setup to turn my turbo to an internal gate, let me know.

look around this FAB forum, you'll see a few threads with manifolds turned turbo manifolds that way.

Yeah, I found a couple threads but most are using d series manifolds. I still don't know if I should use a single 3" 180 degree bend coming back up to the inlet flange, or two smaller pipes. I think the big 3" would flow better. And I found the setup on ebay, that I can use a 5 bolt flange with a flapper valve and 2.5' vband for $50 so i'm all set except for the manifold question.
