Default break in my motor low compression in cylinder 4

so i just built my motor and put it in started it up.... its a z6 eagles cpr pistons new rings all that ---- it has a y-8 head on it...heres the problem im getting 150 compression for 1,2,3 cylinders number 4 is 0 it was running choppy as hell so i thought my timing was off so i put my crank pulley to the red mark on the crank and in the right position for my cam its an adjustable to make sure it wasn't the timing but still 0 for the compression in cylinder 4.... could it be that the motor i had in my car before was a b7 bottom end and i had the y8 head on i threw a rod in cylinder 4 and i was for sure i bent some valves so i switched all of them out from a different y8 head which i think was stupid because i have a feeling that is my problem?? is that right ?

you dumbass. You didn't send the head out to be checked after you light off a bomb in a cylinder?

did you re-seat the valves? although 0 compression I think it a bit low for een a bad valve job, but it doesn't take much for it to be completely fucked. I bent some valves after my cam gear sheared off and I just threw that head in the trash because it was cheaper to buy a new z6 head than to get new valves/guides/seals.

did you do a valve lash adjustment? Did you get the valve angle's machined? (3-angle valve job?)

you cant just change out valves from a diffrent head, as has been said before, theres machine work that needs to be done

assumeing something is the only problem is a very big mistake that usaly ends up costing alot, in either time or money, sometimes both

Check the valve lash first. That always needs to be set when a head is taken apart and reassembled.
