hi everyone, I've got a s13 240 with a big issue. Since I put my motor in, the clutch has always made a horrible squeaking sound when i slip it. (act xtreme pp and 4 puck unsprung clutch)

finally, the clutch just quit because the clutch fork has massive play in it... something is way wrong.

I have my car up on stands and all the bolts off the tranny. It is out about 3/4 of an inch and it WILL NOT go any further out. My dad and I have wiggled, kicked and pried this thing for about an hour straight. We even hooked a comealong to the back of the car and the tranny, and it just wont budge..

How can I get my tranny out?


I leave for college in 3 and a half hours give or take. If i cant fix this I have to take a 93 corolla .. i will miss my 240 very much.

what is it hitting douche waffle its gotta be something
get someone who has not seen it yet to look at it and tell you where its hitting your brains probably fried already

 

you can see day all the way around it.

it can move at least like 6 inches up and down

3 or 4 left and right and it can turn at least 90 degrees on the shaft.

whats still connected? your obviously backing it into something or some ----

 

driveshaft is out, shifter is out, tranny bolts are out, downpipe is just sitting there, wiring is off. there is nothing left! it's just sitting on the ------- input shaft. ugh this sucks

 

sounds like you welded the pilot bearing to the input shaft.........

HAVE FUN!

Likely your gonna bolt the tranny back up and pull it with the motor.......that or torch thru the inputshaft and replace it along with the crankshaft or flywheel.........
