Ok, I got a few quick questions. If I buy a stage 2b to replace my 4b that got swipped, can I still program it with my copy of romeditor, and what about all the options? I can still access them in romeditor, but what if I try to run them without a 4b? Just curious.

 

ROMeditor will tune any Hondata ROM. This lack of security lets local tuners use thier purchased 4B kits tune other people's Hondata in thier area. Profiteering at it's best.

Anyway, the security comes in when you try to give your ROM to someone else who doesn't have one of those pretty blue boxen. The ROM matches the box. That's it. So, if you purchase a "2B" which has now gone to a S200 kit, you should be able to tune it with your version of the ROMEditor.
