Default Painting welding helmet

So I want to get My new speedglas hood airbrushed at a local shop(http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread...int&id=1563655) but I don't know if its worth it. Would high quality automotive paint with clear stand up to that kind of heat?

I would paint it myself but i have not skills when it comes to that kind of stuff... I have some ideas and if eddie does it, it will be ridiculous... I was thinking about having it look like there is sheets of metal riveted in some spots and a nice colorful tig bead in some others... hard to explain but eddie is very VERY good with an airbrush, and I will let him work his magic.

Half the cars on HMT aren't even painted, and you wanna paint a helmet? Is your garage floor epoxy'd too? lol.

It won't be for personal use, I wor at DMI in West Fargo, ND welding on Those big *** white wind towers that you see all around the US, ... We have 75 employees on each shift with the exact same helmet laying around the shop, I want a way to have mine stand out a bit, without painting it hot pink...

It sounds like your helmet is going to be the one everyone is looking to take home when you aren't looking.
