had a thought about mounts, possibly a stupid question

well i was just thinking... a D16 comes in a EG.. and can basicly drop into an EF right? so wouldnt H22 mounts for an EG fit in my EF just as easy? theres a guy near me practicly giveing some away, and i cant tune my Z6 right (possible bad ecu i think) and was thinking of an H22 swap in its place to get it running

what do you guys think? worth a shot or just buy EF mounts?

so you cant get your z6 tuned right...and you want to swap to an h22 to solve your problem?

no, but i was just wondering because i could possibly pick up an H22 swap for cheap, and a guy near me is selling EG mounts

just one of those random thoughts.. and i've owned an H22 eg hatch and it was pretty quick with a LW flywheel and 6pcuk

well ive never had an ef or really paid attention to the mounts, but id bet eg mounts wont bolt in...wait for someone else though

4 & 5g d-series mounts are slightly different, so no. Remember 3 (2 on 5G's) of the 4 mounts are on the tranny, which is different, and the last mount needs to be swapped for a 4g mount to work.
