wow. way too long of a post. look around at what other people are using. figure out what kind you want. its mostly trial and error. as long as you stay below a 250 or so cam, it will still be very streetable. if you go over that you kinda pushing the line cuz its going to kill low end power and you will always be in high rpms. but just do some more research.

i never do what i want
i need a high rpm cuz i want over 500hp maybe if i can just 700hp
i want drag with a serious cars like gallardo , ferrari or gtr
and if u say u cant i will tell u about my friend have a impreza 700hp
and no one can drag with him he drag with motorcycle and lamborghini`s
impreza 4 doors bigger of del sol
if u think when the del sol have over 500hp the impreza himself cant drag with me
im searching but i thing every one do what peopls do!
You have to watch, alot of cam's won't work with oversize valves. Larger valves is usually something that you do for an all-motor application, where headwork is pretty much the only way to squeeze out more power. If you look at alot of skunk2 cams, alot will say not for use with oversize valves due to the extremely high rpm range you would have to run in order to make good use of the cam. Larger valves = more mass that has to open and close at an extreme rate. Best bet is to stick to a longer duration cam for turbo...the longer the valves are open, the more forced air is compressed into the cylinder. Most long duration cams don't really have a higher than stock redline not because they won't go to those rpm's, just because they won't want to make any power on the extreme top. In order to make the power range you want, you're going to need alot more than just a set of cams...you're going to need alot of block work as well.

Well, first of all i hope that you will have an experienced engine shop help you with this because it takes alot of planning and experience to build a reliable 500+HP setup. Secondly, theres no reason why we wouldn't believe that your friend has a 700hp subaru. Good luck keeping up with his 4wd goodness. It's gonna launch like a ----------er.
