finally got my friends car all finished and its throwing a code 19. its a N/A z6 in a VX. we used the z6 engine harness. and i dont know why its saying automatic transmission lockup control valve.

 

Is that a sensor? If so just plug one in and let it hang or tie it off somewhere. IF your still using the vx ecu it's going to wan't to see all it's sensors.

 

you must be running an auto ecu.

 

 

no we're not. i took it out myself and the car was a 5spd, so idk. so it goes one long flash then 9 quick once and like that over and over. am i reading this right ??

jsut cuz the ecu was in a manual doesnt necesarily mean it was the original ecu. open up the ecu case and take a look

 

i did, and it manual. one more thing the ecu is chipped. running a stock z6 map + redline at 7500, disabled second O2 sensor and vtec at 4400. could it be the chipping job ?? the guy that did it is one of THE best in Boise, ID.

 

weird, obd0 and obd1 only have 1 o2. pull the code again, if its a code 19 and you know for sure its a manual ecu its gotta be operator error on your part.
