what prices are you guys getting for scrap metal lately?

i have lots of brass, copper, aluminum and steel to take in

 

in oregon i get $.05 for every soda can or bottle i take back in.

 

ahaha same here, but i get $0.10 for a glass bottle

for scrap aluminum... i have some old snowmobile blocks here, would they cars if theres steel bearings cats into the aluminum?

 

aluminum needs to be pure not steel in it


if it does it scrap and worth basically nothin


I just got .25 pound for some scrap alumium

 

hmm pure aluminum huh? does it gotta be clean too or can it have paint and greese on it?

i may just cut teh blocks up with teh grinder

 

I just got rid of some scrap metal. Copper and aluminum pay really well.

 

I took some old rotor housings in hoping to get the "big bucks" for aluminum and was disappointed when they told me the little thin layer of steel makes them worth their weight in mild steel.

 

what i meant was what you bring in cant have steel studs etc so you have to strip any non aluminum hit of or just throw it in the trash


scrap meatl was worth 2 cents a pound so ya wont even pay for gas

 

I get .35 a pound for cast alum.

lol here in michigan we get 10 cents a can

---- scrap yards are full of ------- ------s arround here.. we took in a truck load of ------- aluminum window sills and siding.. and only got 35 dollars for it they can kiss my ------- ***..
