Default Need some windows help

Ok i just fixed up a broken laptop for my mom and the hard drive files were corrupt :1

So i threw in my windows XP pro disc, redid the partitions and installed XP on the new partition. It's actually installing as i type this but i gotta head out for a while as it finishes up. Only problem is the cd jacket that came with the xp disc doesn't have any codes on it, although i know it's authentic because it came with my new laptop from staples...

so does anyone have a key gen for xp pro or know how i should get it going? I'm assuming it is going to ask for a key right?

Call them and tell them your story, they'll give you the code.

Flip the laptop over. The serial number will most likely be on a sticker on the bottom.
