Need some help with Windows 2000 pro..
Is there a way to get some sort of picture preview similar to the one in XP? In XP, you can just hit next or the arrow key and go to the next picture in the file. With 2000, you have to open each individual picture in the previewing program....it sucks. Also, when I plug my camera up to the computer by usb, it doesnt have the driver to download the files from it, so I have to go to my computer and take the files from "drive E". Is there a printer and scanner wizard for Win2Kpro like there is for XP?
The reason I have 2kpro is because its on my ancient desktop eOne (emachine) that has a 5 gig hard drive. Its slow as **** with XP.
Thanks for any information guys!

i think the picture viewer runs like a seperate program, if you can get install files for 2000 it should work, and for the driver go to the manufactures web site and they proabable has support drivers.

Just download Irfanview. It's way better than the built in picture preview in XP.
You should be able to find the software/drivers for your cam on the manufacturers website. What kind of camera is it and what's the model number?

Irfanview cant go from one picture to the next picture in a folder y hitting next. You have to open it manually. Same concept, only you can play with the picture a little bit in Irfan.
Another question...Since I reformatted my laptop the other day (XP Home) the windows sucks *** when I scroll or watch videos in full screen mode. It takes to long to refresh and gets jumpy. Is this just an update video card driver issue? Or a windows update issue? I dont want to dl anymore windows updates. I neevr have problems with my comps until I download their damn updates.
