how to change over to external wg

Default how to change over to external wg

can i change over to a external wg with out have to buy a new manny. can i put the flange in or do i have to get a new one.

you can drill/port a hole on your current manifold and weld a WG flange to it. Make a new downpipe to block off or incorporate the internal wg. Then it will be done. Prolly be easier to buy a new manifold though. Make sure to do the manifold before the downpipe.

i was going to upgrade to a new turbo t3t4 .60 .63

Just do it , sell your old manifold and get a new one made up with flange for the external

i didn't do this, most wg's wont even open unless there's vac source, i left it there to hold it shut, then ran the external wg with the vac source goin to it, never had an issue
