Default noob/ bov and serge question plz help

hey thx for your help
this is a 2 part question
ok so when i drive and start building boost any thing under 4-5 psi gives me some surge before my bov releses the presure
i have a crushed dsm bov installed about 6-10 inches from the throdel body
1 is this bad and how bad
2 how can i fix it

if its surging it might be a leak.

a leak in what
i know i have a leak between my head and manifold im trying to fix it soon
i tried an extra gasket but it made it worse so im gona try to file or sand it flat and if that dosent work im gona get it machined
is it that? could it be any thing else? and is it bad?

i could be too crushed for low boost preventing blow-off, and making compressor surge. either turn up the boost, or get a new bov.

get a new bov ! ! !

your running to low of boost to make the bov open.

And get a better vacuum source for the BOV. I had a similar problem with my Apexi twin chamber when i had the vacuum source hooked in with a bunch of other stuff. Ran a new vacuum source directly from the intake manifold to the BOV and works great now.

ill try geting a new bov a un crushed one
i think my vacume source is good my budy hooked it up to me its hooked up to the vacume between the manifold and the breake thingy cylnder i dont know what its called

#1 a bov ideal postion is 12" from the tb
#2 crushing is bad news heres other things do instead
