how reliable is the h22 motor against b18 series motors?

any motor can be reliable if you take care of it, thats a very vauge and pretty dumb question

i had an H22 EG hatch that i loved, got 47.3MPG and never had a single problem over the 6 months i had it, i traded it off because i wanted to go turbo and couldnt afford to boost the H22 though
