turbo car is a lot problems?
i talking with my friends about turbo or all motor, i love the turbo cars, so i hope to turbo my SiR-II B16a2 in the future (hope that it be soon :P). but too i like all motor (less than Turbo) ,adn my friend says that to have a turbo car is to have a lot problems, with leaks, with management system, etc.. i think not but yes, he has little reason because i have seen a lot guys with problems on their turbo cars.. what do you think? i know that the most people of this forum will prefer turbo car, but.. really to have a turbo car is to have more problemas than a car all motor?

Well you don't have a DSM so you shouldn't have many problems.
*L* my soon to be brother inlaw has a talon i went up to visit my sister last weekend and go to a carshow with them.He had just rebiult the engine on his talon last week so he had a few problems with charge pipes blowing off a few times saturday night.
Sunday morning I looked through all his tools and spare parts to find something to use that would fix the weak charge pipe coupling.
I ended up using a drill to put some small holes in four places around the pipes and then used tie wire to twist the two pipes together then I just slid the coupling back on and tightened it down, problem solved.
But that afternoon as he pulled in their driveway the trans sprung a leak and dumped all his tranny fluid on the ground under the car.At that point I had to leave to get home so I couldn't stay to help him fix it.
Later when i called they said a bolt worked it's way out causing the leak.
So yeah you will have problems but you just deal with them as the come. And most of the time it's not that big a deal.
Just steer clear of a talon an eclipes or a Laser and you'll be fine.

^^ouch, maybe your brother in law is a tard. remember lefty loosy right tighty. dsm require a little bit more brain power and finess to work on but in the end the payoff is great. then again i have the best of both worlds..

so the only problema that i see is to do a good tune
.. (though i would like to learn to do it.
) .
get some good engine management, use some good parts and you wont have any problems, dont cheap out on the important things.
and yes you will smoke him, i have seen turbo D's spank type R's all day long at the track

i thought runing with P28 chipped.. crome or uberdata.. it would be safe? (i have seen in pgmif.org a guy runing with 13psi block stock (?) and crome..).. what do you think? what Engine management do you recommend to me?
