Anything chipped or piggy back could potentially have problems, it all depends on how much money you are willing to spend and what kind of performance and reliability you would like to see.

Hondata is still piggy back per say, but its probably the most reliable out of the bunch IMO, its a little bit of money but if u can afford it then go for it, i personaly havent heard of anyone having problems with it, but if u are that worried then you can go to standalone... i done know how much money you have and what set up you are planning on running, do some research figure out all the details and then deside, if you are worried about blowing ur car up then dont boost too high and get something along the lines of hondata, i know a few people using it who have never had any problems, and once its tuned thats it you dont have to touch it again.

Id say yeah youll have problems unless you do the install right, source out the right parts, and get it tuned right. But with a turbo you might get addicted and want to run more boost, creating more problems if you do decide to up it without proper builds or tuning. If you are good at building NA engines then go for it, either way your going to have problems getting more power, just do it right.
