ive got my manual boost controller and ive one end to the actuator and the other end to the
nipple of the turbo ...

is that correct, as i was researching and i saw that u tee of the blow off valve and the intake manifold -

 

you've got it in the right place. not sure if its in the correct direction or not

 

that's about right. BOV should be tee'd off to the intake manifold along with the boost/vacuum guage. It is the same for internal/external. Different people may do it differently, it's your choice. I would say you are on track with that.
