i am boosting my friends eclipse its a 2003 has 4g64 and all i can find is ss auto and obx mannys i can build one but i cant find anyone with flanges. any dsm guys can help me out with this problem also i was wondering if a 4g63 manny can be modified any tips or links to where i can find some flanges or a good manny..

i think an evo manny is the same were going to barro a stock header to see if it fits

 

The 4G63 manifold will fit on the 4G64 without any problem because they use the same flange, but using the stock DSM turbo will be a problem because of the exhaust housing. You would have to get one custom made to clear the A/C. Tearstone might be able to sell you the hotisde of an AAI kit but you will have to get in touch with him on the club3G board.

I got the hotside parts from Donny direct at AAI when I did my 2000 eclipse. Very nice parts, and a perfect fit.

As far as the manifold flange you can pick up the spacer plate from Hahn Racecraft or Road Race Engineering.

 

The best thing you could do for 4g64 is get a 2nd gen 4g63 head. Larger ports and much better cams for boost. then you can mount up any 4g63t mani you want. ive been having trouble trying to find one that will fit a 46mm external wastegate and fit without hitting my motor mount or hood. pain in my ***... hole...

cant use the 2g head, has to be the evo, and I believe there is a kia head that will fit. The motor is 180 deg. reversed. Any 2000 and up 4g64 that is.

 

The head option was a much debated topic on Club3G and it has been done but with alot of machine work, not worth it in my opinion.
