I order a 10 point cage i having problems on the windshield post runners, this cage is designed to go around your factory dash anybody install one off these already on a CRX pictures wuld help thanks.

 

I have an 8pt in my hatch, but there was another post on HT about S&W A pillar bars not fitting correctly or being installed properly? I don't remember.
Why all 10pt's in the first place?

 

take pics and we could probablt help u more with whats wrong. Also, why not 10 instead of 8?

 

S&W cages need a lil persuading to fit. My 8pt in my Z ummm need to be slightly modded. Not bad for the price compared to like a Autopower but you get what you pay for. Still nice and cheap but not just a bolt-in affair like Autopower or a Cusco. But at a like 1/2 of the price I'll take a S&W since you can add onto it with different options.

Yes? Does it matter? I'm curious as to why 8 over 10 in street trim?

 

If you get in an accident, your realize there's a bar right in front of your head? That's not safe at all. The 8 pt is more than enough for the streets.

 

maybe he's just gonna wear a helmet when he drives to the grocery store....

 

i got a s&w 10pt. in my 79malibu and we had to take the A-pillar bars to the muffler shop to make them fit

 

yeah S&W makes a good 8 pt that still needs notching here and there, but when they get into 10pt ---- and have to make all the bars meet up it's fuxxored. A little more than notching in that case.
