alright so im throwin the LS vtec in my eg civic, now, i bought 90-93 axles with intermediate shaft, so i got the axles in the mail but im wondering which side the axles go in? on the input shaft to the tranny/int. shaft on the axles, one axle has a full spline and the other has half, i just wanted to make sure that the one that has half a spline goes on the passenger side because it only needs to go onto the side gear, am i right? also, 90-93 axles with 90-93 intermediate shaft in my eg civic was the right choice right?

i heard that you need to change an axle seal?? if so, which one?

 

half splined axle goes into the tranny not the intermediate shafts so yea the passenger side, as for anything else, I don't know, as long as you have the intermediate shaft for the alxes you should be fine

 

well i got the axles in, but the passenger seems a little short? so i pulled the plunge out to take up the slack but it looks like its really tight? any clue? but should the axle seals be ok? the ones that are in the 00 civic tranny?

 

Hmm, all the pass. side axles are the same I believe from 90-01 or whatever, the driver side is the only different because of the intermediate shaft, I never messed with the axle seals but I think they would be fine, sorry i can't be more help
