Ive got these 88 or 89 something squear prelude headlights I wanna install

They have just a pink wire and a black wire, can I cut the harness plug off and wire this thing directly to a 12v source form the headlight?

yes all it needs is 12volts, what the ---- else would it be but I dont think your headlight switch will like the load, you would need a relay.

 

Ive got my headlights/corners/sidemarkers all run off of the same power wire in the headlight assembly

I guess I'll give these there own switch power
