1/4 mile time

Default 1/4 mile time

last night i ran at the track, i have a 00 Si, with a aem intake, dc header, and a obx exhaust..clutch is going bad so a new one could help..but i ran a 15.55 @88 mph with a 10.02 1/8 mile time and a .7575 light..let me know how that is or if i should be doing better..thanks

00 Si I/H/E 15.55 is ok.
Even if you get a clutch, that's probably the best you'll get from that car unless you get into internal parts or things like that. You will spend a lot of money on internals for an NA car and still run mid 14's.

So yeah you need a turbo.

those cars are pigs, so a mid 15 isn't that bad for a stock b16

SI's are pretty fat, a B16 in an EG can go 14's pretty easily.

15.5 it good for a stock-ish N/A car, but a trap of 88mph it just so low sounding.

damn, i get so pissed when i hear about these 1/4 times from all you -----s down close to sea level, a 99/00 si with I/H/E would struggle to break like 16.8 in the 1/4 here, i see them run like 17.2 stock all the time, a gs-r will run like 16.5 stock, even b16 and gs-r swapped hatches run like mid to high 15's here, 5,000 ft. elevation sucks my ***...(colorado by the way)
