Re: 1/4 mile time
you need a turbo. :y

Re: 1/4 mile time
00 Si I/H/E 15.55 is ok.
Even if you get a clutch, that's probably the best you'll get from that car unless you get into internal parts or things like that. You will spend a lot of money on internals for an NA car and still run mid 14's. So yeah you need a turbo. |
Re: 1/4 mile time
those cars are pigs, so a mid 15 isn't that bad for a stock b16

Re: 1/4 mile time
SI's are pretty fat, a B16 in an EG can go 14's pretty easily.

Re: 1/4 mile time
15.5 it good for a stock-ish N/A car, but a trap of 88mph it just so low sounding.

Re: 1/4 mile time
damn, i get so pissed when i hear about these 1/4 times from all you -----s down close to sea level, a 99/00 si with I/H/E would struggle to break like 16.8 in the 1/4 here, i see them run like 17.2 stock all the time, a gs-r will run like 16.5 stock, even b16 and gs-r swapped hatches run like mid to high 15's here, 5,000 ft. elevation sucks my ass...(colorado by the way)
