Default 3 BAR MAP

Why do none of you guys run 3 bar MAP sensor's? No need for missing link, wouldn't need an AFC. Just wondering.

No, REDLINE means that the scaling of the 3 bar acts as a sort of AFC hack... The EMS boys who have their EMS ---- on them (happens a lot) run 800-900cc injectors and 3 bar MAP on stock ECU to limp on. Doesn't run great, but it runs.

Problem is, it's about a -60% fuel cut. That means your ignition is even further jacked forward in the boost region than with regular AFC hack. 38-45 degrees of ignition advance under boost != fun. Further, how do you even plan on tuning the fuel?

You want to combine it with Ghettodyne or ERM NA tuner... you might have something. I haven't played with that sort of setup, but I can't see why it wouldn't work fine.
