Default Battery

has anyone ever see the batteries in magazines that are "performance lightweight batteries" *cough* motorcycle battery *cough*

anyone ever tried one. i was thinking about trying to run a 12v motorbike battery for space reasons

i was just wondering cause i know a lot of fourwheeler batterys are small as ---- and could fit in some pretty small awkward spaces that would be outta the way of turbo gear

i really dont wanna move a battery to teh trunk either

Then try it? Batteries in the trunk isn't that hard either, or costly unless you want it legal.

i saw a guy at the track once with motorcylce battery and his ---- was just fine... so yeah go for it

I have a Hawker Genisis and it is great as it can fit anywhere under the hood you want avoiding relocation to rear which requires shut off switch,NHRA approved box etc.You cant run much other then a radio and basic accesories with one of these though.It is 7x3x7" and weighs 13lbs.http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/i...is_2_large.jpgIt was $86.50

yeah, try to start up with an atv battery and watch that ****** die on your first crank over if it even works.

I had a friend with a Hawker in his old accord but all he used it for was Auto-X and absolutly Zero accesories...So beware

on the other hand. we had a guy come in with a 3rd gen civic, his car died and i jumped it with a large sealed atv battery for an 800cc atv. but i dont rember the battery number. i think it was a y60c or something.
